Gabe finally got his snow!!!

Gabe, as I mentioned in an earlier post, has been asking when we'd have snow so he could play in it. Well this week he finally got it. I couldn't get him to come in yesterday even though it was starting to get a little dark out. He's actually able to go out and play in it because Daddy has been home for 2 days from school (and will be home again tomorrow!). So one of us can stay in with Caleb (he's not really ready to build a snowman yet :) ), and the other can take Gabe out. He's made snow angels, tried to build a snowman (although the snow won't stick well enough), had snowball fights with both of us, and spent alot of time helping Mike shovel off the driveway. Then we went out back and built a tunnel that he can crawl through. He'd stay out there all day if we let him.

He also enjoyed some hot chocolate after being out in the cold.

Of course Caleb couldn't join us outside, but here he is looking up at big brother!
