Busy Weekend!

We had a busy "long" weekend. Mike's sister, Julie, came to visit for the weekend since she and Mike had Monday off for the holiday. Sunday we had our Daytona 500 Party. We had a nice turnout and had alot of fun visiting with everyone there. Although our favorite, Jeff Gordon, didn't win it was still a good day. We ate way too much junk food, oh well. Gabe got to play with his buddies (Hayden, Brooks, and Hudson), as well as a cousin and a new friend. The kids had a lot of fun I think.

Then Monday we went to the Children's Museum (it was a free day) ALL DAY!! Gabe had so much fun that he never got a nap, although because he played so hard he ate 2 really good meals today (a rarity).

Mom, Dad, (and Aunt Julie), were worn out by then end of the day!

Well first I'm going to say how excited I am to now have DSL so I can do a page like this!!!!

We've been trying to get Gabe excited to potty train, but he seems to have no interrest. I'd really like to save some money on diapers, oh well. He is talking so well lately. He says sentences all the time, but slurs alot of the words together. We sometimes have to ask him to repeat things several times before we know what he's saying. He doesn't get to upset with us though. After we repeat what we think we heard a couple times he just says "No" and gives up. We do have moments though where he gets really mad that we don't understand him.

This was a Christmas gift that he absolutely loved, but for obvious reasons we have to pick the days we bring it out (it has 2 tent that connect to it). He can't wait until it's warm enough out to set the whole thing up outside.
