Caleb's 1st day of pre-school

Today I dropped my baby boy off for his first day of pre-school.  He did just fine.  The teacher had playdoh out for them to play with.  That made his day!  I on the other hand couldn't hold it together long enough to even get out of the building!  Caleb never saw me, but Emma sure did.  I'm not ready for him to start school!   He was my baby for so long, I want him to stay my baby! 

 But Mommy the sun is right there and really bright.  You can't take my picture!

Gabe's 1st day of 2nd Grade

Camping

We had a nice time camping last week.  The weather was perfect.  We went Thursday afternoon through Saturday afternoon.  Emmaline and I came home each  night.  I'm not ready to sleep in a tent with a baby!  We were camping in Brown County State Park, so it was only about an hr drive.

 The only time we were able to get her to nap in the tent.  And this only happened after I layed down with her until she fell asleep.

The next several pictures are from the boys mining for fossils.  They loved this!

 We were camping so this is how we did ice cream for Mike's bday.

 She enjoyed swimming.

 She has given up the paci (thank goodness) and instead of sucking her thumb she likes these 2 fingers.  

So cute!!!

They were all tired and ready to go home.

 Gabe had a lot of difficulty this year with batting.  Below he was so excited cuz he got a hit and made a run!

We went to an Indianapolis Indians baseball game.  (Emma and Mike were there at the beginning, but left early enough to get Emma home for bedtime)

 Caleb was hiding from the camera.  Above...gotcha!!!!

Next we made their patriotic t shirts.

We went to a birthday party for everyone celebrating an "0" birthday this year (10, 40, 50, 70) in my family.  Emma actually kept the hat on.

 She also discovered the grass.

Emmaline started saying Dada dada dada dada today!!!!!!  She was funny though, as soon as she noticed I was video taping her she stopped talking and just started to mouth the word Dada.  Too funny.
