Gabe had a wonderful time at his party Saturday. (although at first he was a little disappointed that none of his friends could make it, all his cousins made it, at least those in state, and that was a lot of fun). Candy brought over their bounce house and the 3 older kids had a lot of fun there. Of course he was so happy Hayden and Brody were there (I think he'd spend every moment with Hayden if we'd let him), but it was so cute when cousin Anna showed up, he ran up to her and gave her a big hug and told her how excited he was that she was there! So cute! These kids play so well together. Gabe is 4, Hayden 3, and Anna 2. Brody is 1 and tries to join in, but the older kids just don't let him all the time. Of course Caleb isn't big enough to really try and join in yet. After presents and cake they all had a very nice time swimming out back. Gabe and Hayden also enjoyed driving each other around in the Hummer. Watching them we were thinking in about 12 years that'll be a real car they are in and we'll all be worrying a bit! They also seemed to enjoy trying to hit the Eve pinata apart. In the end Gabe was the one who broke her apart. The way he was hitting that thing makes us think maybe we should be looking into t-ball for him, that boy can swing!
All that hard work and then we cut it up!!! :(
